MMM Floors is a family-owned business based in the Richmond, VA area, with nearly 20 years of experience in flooring and construction. We work with homeowners and commercial clients across Richmond, Short Pump, Midlothian, Chesterfield, Glen Allen, Mechanicsville, Ashland, Powhatan, Goochland, Charlottesville, Virginia Beach, and Chesapeake. Every project we take on carries the same standard of quality that built our reputation in the first place.

Our story starts with owner Mario Soares, who came up through the trade the hard way. He started as a laborer, learning hardwood flooring and tile work from the ground up on real job sites in Virginia. Over time, he built the skills and the confidence to do things his own way. He started MMM Floors so he could put his name behind every job and never compromise on quality to hit a number or meet a deadline.

Mario's son, Mario Jr., grew up watching the business take shape. He spent summers helping his father on job sites before heading to Virginia Tech, where he earned a degree in civil engineering. After graduating, he made the decision to join MMM Floors full-time. His background in engineering adds a layer of precision and planning to every project, from a single-room hardwood installation to a full bathroom remodel.

Together, Mario and Mario Jr. lead a team that takes flooring seriously. Our core work includes hardwood floor installation, sanding and refinishing, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), laminate, and tile installation. We also handle interior and exterior painting, drywall installation, demolition, and bathroom remodeling. Whether you need one service or several, we keep the work coordinated and the communication clear.

Hardwood flooring is where we got our start, and it remains the heart of what we do. We know how much a well-installed or freshly refinished hardwood floor can change the feel of a home. We bring that same attention to every surface we work on, whether it's a tile bathroom floor, a painted exterior, or a new LVP installation in a rental property.

We serve a wide area across central and eastern Virginia, and we're proud to have built lasting relationships with clients throughout the region. Our schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7am to 6pm, and Saturday from 9am to 2pm, so we can work around yours. We're closed Sundays.
